v2.9 Updates
This update
addresses several issue that have been corrected as
well as addition of some new features and functionality. Most users will benefit from the
improvements of AI 2.9, so we highly
recommend all users upgrade to it.
We also recommend that you
download and read/review the AI 2.9 Supplement below
as it details the corrected issues and new
enhancements. As this update is more
comprehensive and extensive than previous updates,
you should take special note the critical issue
detailed on page 1 and the conversion/preparation
instructions outlined in pages 12 through 15.

We have changed the format of
our documentation to standardize it and have created
this documentation that can easily fit into a 3-ring
binder. We recommend that you add this
documentation to your other AIS documentation, and
keep such documentation in a centralized location
for easy reference.

2.9 Supplement

STEP 2:
Perform all preparations outlined in the 2.9
Supplement which includes, verify you have remote access
capability for our Client Services Specialists to assist
you in this update and conversion and gathering
the required information concerning your existing
versions and location of the main database files.
STEP 3:
Contact Client Services to test your remote
access connection and set up your appointment for the Pre-conversion. Some files may
be downloaded and installed at this time by our specialists in preparation for
the pre-conversion thus minimizing the impact on normal practice operations.
STEP 4:
Pre-conversion appointment - Our
specialists will remote access your system then perform the pre-conversion
process. Upon successful completion you may setup your final conversion
and update appointment
STEP 5:
Final conversion appointment - Our
specialists will remote access your system then perform the final conversion
process and updates to your system.
